I attended a fundraising gala dinner in 2014 and The Doubts were performing. I hadn’t heard of The Doubts before and so many years later, I still remember the vibe in the room that night. The crowd was up, singing and dancing away and EVERYONE seemed to be having a great time. In my professional role as Development Officer for a registered charity, I am always thinking about how to make improvements to our fundraising program. This year we planned our second annual gala dinner and we needed a big wow-factor. We looked at our audience demographics and realized that our patrons range in age from 24 – 80. How could we possibly find entertainment to suit all ages, add fun and a flair to our event, and keep the excitement going as we worked to raise funds to support our cause? I thought back to all the events I have attended and kept circling back to that band that performed at that one gala dinner so many years ago. I connected with a friend who provided a link to The Doubts website and am I ever glad that I did!
Working with Erin was amazing! She very promptly and professionally responds to all emails, phone calls and inquiries. The band is so laid back and easygoing that they were willing to just roll with whatever format we requested, even being flexible enough to modify their sets the night of the event as we worked with managing scheduling glitches that cropped up last minute.
Their performance was outstanding! Our guests didn’t want to leave the dancefloor at the end of the night! The Doubts performed hits spanning the decades in a very lively performance that kept our guests wanting more.
Without a doubt (see what I did there?!?) we will be booking The Doubts again in the future.

I would like to thank Eric Lam and the band The Doubts for donating their time on Saturday night March 5th 2011 at Tim Hortons Bowl for Kids Sake event in Mississauga. The money raised went to Big Brothers Big Sisters Peel.
The band played to a packed house and everyone was on their feet all night. The excitement in the room was amazing. They were dancing on the lanes, they were dancing in the aisles, the place was just hopping. The theme for the event was Rock and Roll and The Doubts nailed it. I was hearing comments from all over that this was the best bowling for Big Brothers event they ever attended. We had The Doubts perform at our company Holiday party and we couldn't have been happier with the band. Great Music, great vocals and lots of energy! Not only were they amazing at putting the best playlist ever together, not only did they work with the venue seamlessly, but they totally brought down the house and had everyone dancing till 2am. They look incredible, sound incredible, are the most versatile musically and absolutely the nicest group to party with.
I totally connected with them and they made what could have been a totally stressful event into one I will never forget. All of our guests were as impressed with them as I was. Thank you so much for an incredible evening, I could not have asked for a better night, a better compliment to the mood I was in. You made the night so festive and made me feel like a rock star...even at 40!
